One of the brightest events in the maritime world in 2010 is held from 19 to 23 August in Amsterdam. In the harbor of Amsterdam docked more than 600 historic sailing ships, replicas and modern ships, motor boats and military around the world.
The festival, which takes place once every five years, includes an extensive cultural program for crews and guests of the festival: a parade of sail, parade crews in the city center, music and dance performances at venues in the city and on board ships, exhibitions, sports competitions between members crews, "marine market," the final show with fireworks and much more.
