In an average strip cold-blooded viper are active in the daytime. They love to bask in the sun, including a can do, and right on the trail, on the stumps, and mounds of stone slabs. On warm summer nights the snakes are active and can crawl to the fire.
At a meeting with the snake man usually tries to crawl away. Footsteps snake (devoid of hearing) perceived by tremors. In soft peat litter or soil dug fluctuations almost do not apply, and the viper sometimes does not have time to escape in advance.

Therefore, abrupt movements when the direct meeting with the viper is better not to make, and certainly do not try to get to know her better.

What's going on?
The closer the bite to the head, so it is dangerous. At the site of the bite of the viper, which is usually, of course, are two point wounds from poisonous snakes teeth. The bite immediately causes severe pain growing.
In the spring of viper venom is more toxic than the summer. It contains neurotropic cytotoxins, i.e. affects the nerve cells. Other components of the viper venom causes a number of disorders of blood coagulation and necrosis.
Local reaction begins in the first few minutes after the snake attack: bitten part of the body is red, becomes hot, up from the bite swelling spreading, then there is certainly increased in volume.
The general reaction usually develops within 15-20 minutes, but can occur at once. Starts sick and dizzy, there is lethargy, nausea (sometimes - vomiting), it becomes hard to breathe, pounding heart. When Viper Sting should immediately go to the doctor (or call the "ambulance"). On the road it is very important that the bitten part of the body remained motionless and was not working. The movement accelerates flow of venom into the body. Certainly it is possible to fix a scarf, conventional sticks.
The victim should remain calm, do not make unnecessary movements and a lot of drinking (not just better in small portions, about up to three liters, preferably plain water or juice, soda). You can take 1-2 pills medicines for allergies, such as "suprastin", "tavegil." Nothing else on the way to the doctor not to do so.
