1954 Ferrari 375 Mm Scaglietti Coupe Speciale

Built to be the most formidable weapon of Enzo Ferrari, Ferrari 375 MM achieved considerable success. He has victories at Le Mans, the Targa Florio and Mille Miglia. But there are a few of these machines that came from the factory, the road version - 375 mm Speciale. The car which will be discussed, namely that a handful of them, and this is his story.





Car Roberto Rossellini ordered the director (Roberto Rosselini), one of the best clients of Ferrari. Rossellini had already had several cars Ferrari. In his garage could see the models 166, 212, 250 mm.



Order Vehicle chassis number 0402AM and open body of work Spider Pininfarina, was ready in the spring of 1954. Rossellini used it for daily trips up to the accident in which the car damaged the entire front part. Impressed by the Mercedes-Benz 300SL, Scaglietti built the upper part of the body like a tower, with a large panoramic rear window. The long front end terminates in an elongated oval grille, lock in your path and extra lights and blinkers.
