Aston Martin Db-one Concept

Aston Martin DB-ONE Concept - a modern interpretation of the classic sports car theme. Author of the project, the Spanish designer Ruben Vela (Ruben Vela), received last year a master's degree from the Polytechnic University of Valencia, he tried to join in the work ultramodern line with traditional features Aston Martin. The main purpose - to create a new car, while maintaining the tradition of the brand.

The proportions of the DB-ONE Concept gives it dynamism, while maintaining elegance. "For the development of this car, I took the DNA Aston Martin (the traditional grille impressive size, long bonnet and elongated side lines) and reinterpreting these elements was a new product," - says Ruben Vela.

The grille is the main element of the front of the car, forming hood line, passing on the sidewall. Small headlamps are spaced on either side to make room for the large surface of the hood.

The main characteristic of the new car - dynamism. All lines and surfaces are designed to show the power of DB-ONE, even when it is parked. "Cars - is not static objects, and I believe that it is important to show all the dynamics in appearance, especially if it is a sports car." Complex line on the side, passing to the rear wheel arch, look really fast.

The back of the visually unloaded large cut cone, reaching up to a narrow optical stoplights. When viewed from above is well visible narrowing of the rear overhang, reminiscent of something former draft Ruben Vela - Nissan Nova Concept, won the competition at the VIII Nissan Design Contest.

«DB-ONE Concept should fall in love with himself, and not only its happy owner. But if you sit down behind the wheel of the two-seater supercar, it will feel a whole, thanks to the controls and windows, resembling the cockpit of the F-15, will remind you of the immense power under the hood, pressed you in the back seat, "- says Ruben Vela.
