Swedish supercar manufacturer Koenigsegg has extended the first official images of the most powerful car in its lineup, which will be named CCXR. The engine of this car is capable of running on biofuels and develops 1018 horsepower, 17 horsepower more than the one of the most powerful and fastest supercars of the world - Bugatti Veyron.
The novelty will be equipped with 4, 7-liter eight-cylinder engine with two mechanical superchargers, which will be able to work on bioethanol E85, consisting of 85 percent alcohol and 15 percent of the gasoline. Capacity of such motor makes 1018 horsepower and maximum torque is 1 060 Nm. According to the Swedish company, up to a hundred kilometers per hour Koenigsegg CCXR will be dispersed for 2, 9 seconds, and its maximum speed exceeds 400 kilometers per hour. Average consumption of biofuel per hundred kilometers will be about 22 liters.
When just such a car could be on sale is not reported. According to preliminary information, the value of Koenigsegg CCXR in the European market will be more than half a million euros.
