No special celebrations and long speeches in St. Petersburg has been installed and a monument to the outstanding film and theater actor Mikhail Boyarsky. The initiators of the monument and the authors of the monument became active Resistance Movement named after Peter Alexeyev.

According to them, it is unfair that a man who has become famous and loved by all Russians for his role Musketeers and the song "Zelenoglazoe taxi", now campaigning for the construction of "Ohta-Center" with a 400-meter skyscraper, does not have its own monument.

"We hope that this monument will appeal not only to the actor, but also to all citizens," - said at the opening of the monument, activists DSPA.
