Spaceship for tourists

Head and inspirer of Virgin Galactic, Sir Richard Branson (Richard Branson) and aircraft designer Burt Rutan (Burt Rutan) presented the finished version of the spacecraft to transport tourists into Earth orbit - White Knight 2.





2 White Knight (White Knight 2) has a wingspan of 42 meters. Two fuzelyazha carbon composites accommodate 2 pilots and 6 passengers.



White Knight 2 is equipped with four turbojet engines, which will bring the SpaceShipTwo (SS2) to a height of 104 -110 km, where space tourists must be for a few minutes in weightlessness.



The first flights of White Knight 2 and SpaceShipTwo will take place in 2009-2010.



Recall journey into Earth orbit will cost about $ 250, 000.
