Shopping "maelstrom" MayTsayl

Shopping center "Maytsayl" is located on the main shopping street Zeil, Frankfurt, Germany. Completed and inaugurated in early April 2009. At the 6th floor (about 52,000 m2) located more than 80 various shops, boutiques, restaurants, cafes, fitness club with swimming pool, playground. Architect: Italian Assimiliano Fuksas. Project Budget: 960 million. Euro.

The main feature of the project - two hollow "whirlpool" or "canyon", as they call himself an architect. One of them connects all tiers of buildings, as if tightening inside the building from the roof of his shell. The other connects the main facade and the roof: through him walking down the street Zeil citizens can see a piece of heaven. Flow smoothly into the interior space of the building is filled with sunlight.
