Yesterday, the space shuttle Endeavour completed its 23rd spaceflight (STS-127) landing at the launch site at Kennedy Space Center at Cape Canaveral, Florida. The next time the "Endeavour" will fly in February 2010 (STS-130) in July 2010 (STS-134, the last flight of the program).
Space Shuttle "Endeavour» (OV-105) was built to replace crashed in 1986, the "Challenger". Named in honor of one of the ships traveler James Cook. The first time went into space in 1992 to replace the in-orbit satellite Intelsat VI. He spent 250 days in space and flew 166 million kilometers around the Earth.
