Terry Herbert, 55-year-old amateur archaeologist from Staffordshire found near his home on the largest hoard of Anglo-Saxon date, gold and silver jewelry.
Terry did not use anything other than the old metal detector.
With it was found more than 1,500 ornaments - 5 gold and 2 kg, 5 kg of silver owned by the Saxon royal family and belonging to the 7th century.
