Shipwreck

In 1533 a Portuguese ship, carrying several tons of gold and ivory, was wrecked off the coast of southern Namibia, opposite the beach 'Sperrgebiet', (which means "forbidden zone" in German) due to the fact that the coast is rich in diamonds.
Archaeologists have found 22 tons of ingots beneath the sand, guns, swords, ivory and astrolabes, muskets, etc. and gold coins (of course) - Spanish, French, Moorish, Portuguese ...
It is the oldest and most "rich" find the shipwreck of all found on the coast of sub-Saharan Africa.
It is now called - Diamond shipwreck ...
