In London, it was officially presented to the public mascots of the Olympic Games in 2012. Two characters - Wenlock and Mandeville - intended by the creators were born of two droplets of steel in the construction of the Olympic Stadium. Their names - names of two British cities, included in the history of the Olympic and Paralympic movement. The organizers hope that they will be able to become a universal favorite and help the campaign to raise funds and attract the attention of young people to the world competitions.
