The people rose up in defense of the Khimki Forest
The builders of high-speed highway from Moscow to St. Petersburg began to cut down the Khimki forest. As the leader of the movement "in defense of Khimki Forest" Eugene Chirikov, when activists arrived at the scene, had already been felled area with two football fields. Movement organized a four-hour duty in the forest. Federal State Unitary Enterprise "Roads of Russia" states that deforestation occurs legally.
