Among those who gathers strawberries in the fields of California a lot of immigrants from southern Mexico, especially from the state of Oaxaca. These people speak the languages ​​of the Mixtec and Triqui, appeared long before Columbus discovered America. Some migrants, especially those who are undocumented, allowing them to legally stay in the country, often living on the streets in tents. But despite all the difficulties they have strong family and friendly commune, making easier for people to survive. The power of such communities is expressed in social movements advocating for the rights of workers and immigrants.
