Kiev memorial complex "The National Museum of the Great Patriotic War of 1941-1945" officially opened on the slopes of the Dnieper in Kiev, May 9, 1981.

1. The complex covers an area of over 10 hectares. It includes: a museum with a monument "The Motherland", the main square with the Alley of Hero Cities and sculptures
