Newborn cubs gandhi
Gandhi - a small rodent found in rocky desert areas of North Africa. Females usually gandhi birth to two offspring at a time after a two-month gestation period. As in their native desert moisture has a major drawback, in mothers milk is very small females, young and therefore only feed for four weeks. These photos were taken at the weekend in the Artis Zoo.
