Lair Batman: Turda Salt Mine

The first mention of Turda Salt Mine dates back to the 13th century. In the Middle Ages the mine, located in Romania, was the biggest place of salt mining in the region. The microclimate is characterized by annual fluctuations in temperature between 11 - 12 ° C, with an average humidity level - 80%. Now the mine is a natural museum with a variety of galleries and tunnels. Since 1992, the place has become accessible to tourists.

This year the mine visited Christopher Nolan. According to the unofficial version, the aim of the visit was to assess the underground space from the perspective of Batman's lair.
