Plamen Ignatov with his creations at the exhibition in Sofia

Think about how many people in the world have such patience, as the Bulgarian artist Plamen Ignatov. What should be the time and dedication of the person that within 16 years, painstakingly recreate a miniature copy of the Rila Monastery, which, incidentally, is the largest and most famous Orthodox monastery in Bulgaria. In this creation Plamen took 6 million. Matches plus the precious stones and wood chips.

Now the Bulgarian masterpiece of miniature art will be included in the permanent exhibition of the Archaeological Museum in Sofia. Rila Monastery is one of the most important cultural, historical and architectural monuments in Bulgaria, and is a key attraction for both Bulgaria and the whole of Southern Europe. He was listed as a UNESCO World Heritage Site.
