Life and Fate: scenery of Stalingrad

Text and photos via sasha-siniy

Last fall I went to Yaroslavl on filming the movie "Life and Fate" based on the novel by Vasily Grossmana.Hochu share with you a portion of the photos from that trip. Today I decided to show you the fantastic scenery of Stalingrad in the midst of one of the deadliest battles in history. Artists tried to glory! They built a city destroyed by endless bombing, shelling and street fighting. I must say that when I got there, it was a terrible feeling inside. It looked so real and terrible that it became uncomfortable, and sends shivers incessantly.

I remember when I was in Volgograd, I was deeply struck by the layout of the destroyed Stalingrad. Now I was in this city. He threw me into a light shock. Looking at these ruins could even remotely imagine the horror that is happening in the real Stalingrad 1942-1943. Probably not worth more to say, just look
