Endangered city. In top - 11 Russian

Released a new 150-page UN report on the State of the Cities (State of the World's Cities), devoted to how various institutions, urban planning and the environment lead to the prosperity of the city, which, in fact, are, according to the report, the focus of prosperity human civilization.

If you take the city's prosperity index, developed by the United Nations (based on five factors: productivity, quality of life, infrastructure, environment and social justice), then Moscow - the only Russian cities that are included in the global top 30.

At the same time another 11 Russian cities have distinguished themselves with the worst hand. Business Insider recomposed data presented in the report (the population of cities with more than 750 000 inhabitants for 1990 and 2010, as well the forecast for the year 2025) and made a rating of 28 most endangered cities quickly. 11 of them Russian, Ukrainian five, three Italian, two South Korean and one city in Hungary, Liberia, Georgia, Romania, the Czech Republic, Armenia and Cuba.

The most endangered city in Russia - Nizhny Novgorod, which in 2025 will lose 11, 8% of its population in comparison with 1990.
