Aerial Stalingrad 1942

Recently, not those found about 170 images of Stalingrad. I decided to share.

Though I live 30 km from Volgograd, but at the time of shooting, my city was not yet in sight.

Next Krasnooktyabrsky area. In this area, two large enterprises is Barricades and Red October.

Next is the central area. This is the beginning, you can see a bit of Mamayev Kurgan height of 102.0

Mameva mound luchsche it is seen. On top of the elevated water tank 2, there now Hall of Fame Vonsky, just above the Motherland.

And here is the center of the city. On the other bank of the Volga Krasnoslobodsk.

Central District right now - the smallest district. In the east it is bordered by Dzerzhinsky district.
