As a result, 21 December 2012 the court ruled in favor of a resident of Moscow, but the judge did not impose a penalty for failure to voluntarily comply with the requirements of the consumer. To challenge it took another 10 months, but in the end on September 20 the Moscow City Court Board of Appeals changed the initial decision and appointed additional penalties for the importer. Besides these, he will pay the cost of the car, a penalty for delay in repayment of the amount paid and compensation for moral damages. The total sum will amount to almost 1, 5 million rubles.
