This was stated by vice-president of the OSCE Parliamentary Assembly Vilija Aleknaite-Abramikiene, which is part of the European delegation visited on the eve of a protest in the city center. According Aleknaite-Abramikiene, the United States turned to the partners in the European Union to immediately grant visa-free regime for Ukrainian citizens. This will be the first step in supporting the people of Ukraine.

According to her, at last, the OSCE clearly hear the US position. Washington said that the US will greatly assist the consolidation of democracy in Ukraine and will carefully observe every step of the Ukrainian authorities.

"I've been three times on the Maidan, and saw these faces. No aggression - said the vice president. - They want to live in a European country and an independent and fair to see this guarantee in the EU accession. It is necessary to feel this atmosphere including the authorities. We need to hear their own people, not hide from it. We need a dialogue, but the output is not joyful: the current government is morally weak for such actions ».
