Azure cave glacier Vatnajökull

49-year-old traveler and photographer Rob Lott in February this year entered into one of the Vatnajökull glacier ice caves, which is 8% of the territory of Iceland. Centuries-old cascades of ice covering everything around, as far as the eye, creating a fantastic azure blue and composition. They can be seen only under certain weather conditions, for example, in cold weather and lack of snow on the surface. The most colorful shades appear from January to March. This is due to the fact that the ice there are no air bubbles and sunlight makes its way inside. Unfortunately, these caves, as well as the entire glacier melt gradually.
