The company "Yandex" with the project office Za Bor Architects updated its infrastructure in St. Petersburg, Russia. The new office occupies the entire fourth floor of the business center "Benoit" in the Sverdlovsk embankment. It is also the first office opened in 2008 and has received numerous awards in the field of architecture and design. The only problem was its size - the company "Yandex" wanted more space. The new office is nearly twice the area old.
The architects had the task of creating a spectacular and impressive interior space on a huge, organized not the easiest way, where a long corridor acts as a central axis. As a result, work areas, "cells" for negotiations and other facilities have been designed along the corridor. The design concept is that guests get the office into a search engine "Yandex". So, the receptionist greets them "Find" button and branded yellow arrow, a given direction. Walking through the corridors, they see the easily recognizable blocks for a username and password to log in to post. Symbols and Icons service alternately meet on the way.
