"Expedition: surreal landscapes" - a new project Kathryn Nelson

Belgian artist Kathryn Nelson, who processed the scenery for the movie "Moulin Rouge" and a series of Harry Potter films, is engaged in the creation of panoramic landscapes. Her new series is a resounding name of "expedition" and it's true, it seems that you go to a bizarre world that do not have on our planet ...

Catherine has become famous when released a series of landscapes "shaky worlds».

A series of works called "Expedition" is a traditional landscapes, but photographed so that creates an illusion as if the viewer is looking at the place from several points simultaneously. Not only that landscapes abound in details: you can see small lizards, birds, leaves, - they are still clearly verified, professionally filmed.

All starting location for landscapes constitute from 1, 5 to two meters high and 3 wide.

Total series contains more than 100 photos, which will be fully presented in August at the exhibition in Melbourne.
