Rural teacher Jindrich Streit began photographing in 1972. Czech pastoral developed in a series of papers presented in 1982 at a secret show in Prague, after which the life of the photographer changed dramatically: libel, ten months in prison and a total ban on teaching and recording. < br />
The case is unique in the history of photography. Even his camera was confiscated as an instrument of crime.

But, as a result of it, of course, did not listen. In 1986, his work has been exhibited in the UK Side Gallery. And soon he began to lecture on photography in Film / Academy in Prague, Arts Academy in Bratislava and the Silesian University in Opava.
