Estonian IT-specialists will help to build e-government in Ukraine


Estonian IT-specialists will help Ukraine in the development of electronic administrative services. The minister of Economy of Ukraine Pavel Sheremet agreed at a meeting with the head of the parliamentary group "Estonia-Ukraine" Tynys Palts.

"We need to accelerate the transition to e-government, as it will contribute to an open and transparent government for the citizens", - said Ukrainian minister. By the conviction Tynys Palts, Estonian experts, who were involved in the development of e-government services in Estonia, will help Ukrainian colleagues and provide the necessary advice. "Our experts have helped at one time Georgia and other countries, now we can help build an appropriate system in Ukraine", - said the Estonian official.

In his opinion, Ukraine has more advantageous position for the development of such services than in Western Europe. After all, there is a new system was based on the old, existing platforms and Ukraine in this regard - "clean sheet».
