In the geothermal area of the North Island of New Zealand Waiotapu has a swimming pool with champagne. In fact it is a hot thermal spring. It is located 30 km south-east of Rotorua and about 50 km north-west of Taupo. Title pool Champagne (Champagne Pool) is obtained thanks to the abundant emission of carbon dioxide (CO2), which makes the water source like a champagne.
