Austrian skydiver Felix Baumgartner has made October 14 a jump from a height of 38 kilometers above the US state of New Mexico.
43-year-old Austrian Baumgartner ascended to a height of 38,600 meters in a capsule attached to the balloon.
During the fall parachutist exceeded the speed of 1,100 kilometers per hour. The entire flight took less than ten minutes.
After a safe landing athlete was taken by helicopter to the airport Roswell.
