Abraham Lake - an artificial reservoir on the North Saskatchewan River
Abraham Lake - an artificial reservoir on the North Saskatchewan River in the western part of Alberta, Canada. The lake was created in 1972 after the construction of the dam Bighorn and named after Abraham Silas - Saskatchewan River Valley resident of the 19th century. In this lake you can observe a rare phenomenon - the air bubbles that are frozen just below the surface of water. They are often called ice or frozen bubbles bubbles.
