Imagine that quiet peaceful day you're lying on the beach. Attracted waves, a gentle breeze blowing, the sun shines brightly, when suddenly you hear the roar of aircraft brutal, and right above you sweeps Boeing 747. That's all you can see in the pictures of the Austrian photographer Joseph Hoflenera (Josef Hoflehner), who shot on the beaches of St. Martin the Caribbean.

Runways Princess Juliana International Airport are so close to the beaches that Hofleneru managed to take points off and landing aircraft on the wide-angle lens. The series is called "Airliners". Short runways require that pilots flew to the airport just 10-20 meters above the beach!
