Samurai Larry Ellison

Oracle CEO Larry Ellison considers itself a modern samurai. It is furnished with a California estate of the castle as a Japanese feudal lord of the XVI century and it is well-known collector of ancient samurai armor. Not surprisingly, his yacht and are themed names. Previous ship Ellison called the Rising Sun («Rising Sun"). The length of the boat equals 453 feet (138 m), which provides it with an eighth place in the world rankings. Recently businessman resold it to the American producer David Geffen. A new toy billionaire almost half - 288 feet (87 8 m), which barely allows the boat to get into the top 50. She received the name of Musashi in honor of the most illustrious Samurai Japan. (In the post in August 2010, we were wondering who may belong to Musashi. Alas, none of the previous speculation was not true). The yacht was built in the Dutch shipyard Feadship. The interior of the vessel combines Art Deco and Japanese minimalism. Made with exotic African tree sapotaceae, thin silk and steel. Panoramic elevators with glass and steel organically fit into the traditional interiors of the rising sun. On board Musashi can accommodate 18 guests and 23 crew members. Unlike most ships, here are just two master cabins. Musashi yacht boasts all the facilities, including sauna, spa, gym, jacuzzi. And, of course, is full of all sorts of gadgets - how could it be otherwise, because the yacht belongs to the owner of one of the largest IT-corporations.
