The European Union has confirmed that from March 11, 2013 comes into force the law, according to which the marketing, import and sale of cosmetics and its ingredients tested on animals will be outlawed in the EU.
In the past, Israel has established a nationwide ban on the sale and import of cosmetic products tested on animals.
Paul McGreevy, Director of The Body Shop thanked the customers who have supported the campaign against testing cosmetics on animals for years and said: & quot; This is a great achievement in Europe only closing one chapter. The future of beauty should be free from cruelty ".
