The mummy of the Ming dynasty



At the construction site in Taizhou (this is in the eastern Chinese province of Chiansu) archaeologists have discovered the tomb of a woman who had been buried about 700 years ago. It remains well preserved to this day. During the life of the woman was no taller than 1.5 meters. The body was wrapped in the grave clothes - linen rags, well impregnated with wax and quilted odelo.
