Photographer Jim Golden has long been interested in all kinds of objects and their collectors. In a new project, he created a simple, but fascinating series of photographs, which depicted a huge number of all kinds of gadgets, various tools and a simple waste.




The idea was born spontaneously photocycle this: One day a friend asked Jim to photograph his huge collection of scissors. Some photos of exhibits obtained quite chargers, so Jim decided to put Golden them all together on the floor and take a snapshot of the overall plan. The result is so liked the photographer that he decided to continue the experiment. Over time, there were photos of climbing equipment, mobile phones, guns, musical instruments and other things.



On each photo you can simultaneously see the variety of models of the same object, so that the audience can be considered long shots, looking for tiny differences between the usual things.



One of the problems faced by Jim Golden, was the search collections. As the search for the required number of items of the same type was not easy. However, with the first publications of finished pictures, Jim began to address dozens of crazy collectors. In the process, a talented photographer collaborating with stylist Kristin Lane. Sometimes they ask for help, not only to individuals but also to organizations. For example, one of the shooting Portland Photo Club donated 400 cameras with a kit lens.
