«Scarecrow Festival» - festival of scarecrows in the UK Bashny.Net

In the small village of Kettlewell for the sixteenth consecutive year passes the original event - a festival of scarecrows, called «Scarecrow Festival».

Every year in this Yorkshire village the villagers are more than a hundred guests all kinds of stuffed animals that are placed around the village in the most unexpected places. The first festival was held to raise funds for a local school. Nevertheless, after four years, the festival is held under the patronage of the local parish church, together with the school.

For festival-goers thought out a special route, passing that they can see everything works and then determine the best, in their opinion, a scarecrow. The festival opened on August 14 and will last exactly 9 days.
