International Day of the beard (World Beard Day) in Australia

Today, in the Australian city of Adelaide, the regular celebration of the International Day of the beard (World Beard Day).
The festival dedicated to this day, held in Adelaide for the sixth time. The first celebration took place in the year 2004. By tradition, the venue remains a local hotel The Gov. The festival runs several contests in various categories that are associated with a beard, and performances organized groups in which the participants are the owners of beards.
The event can take part any person who is in the presence of a beard and an Australian passport. Special guests of the festival was a group of The Beard. I think even without knowledge of English is not difficult to guess the correct translation for the name of the group :)
