Cemetery of cars in Belgium

Near the village of Chatillon, in the south of the country, in the middle of the forest is an impressive size car cemetery. Its history dates back to World War II. Earlier, in the vicinity of the cemetery was as many as four.

In total, these four long-term "storage" were more than 500 cars. Today, there is only one scale. It all started with the fact that when the war came to an end, the military base left all Americans. When they had become owners of such a number of machines in the midst of war - remains a mystery. But the fact remains. Forward the "iron horses" to their homeland across the ocean was too expensive, so cars simply abandoned. Over time, that failed completely covered with corrosion models were stretched by locals and collectors. And what's left - we can contemplate.
