Maeklong Railway Market

This unusual market located right next to the railroad tracks, is located in Samut Songkhram Province, in the heart of Thailand and close to the capital. Extreme extreme traders and buyers - interesting.

At first glance, this market is no different from any other in the country.

Here you can buy any kind of fruit and vegetables, cooked food, seafood, spices and so much more.

Buyers leisurely stroll from the seller to the seller, and traders are trying to draw attention to their products.

So lasts as long until you hear a warning signal.

In the blink of an eye disappear buyers and sellers shift their tents and removed from the railway line items.

The market at this place existed long before the arrival of the railway (opened in 1905).

Thais call this market «Talad Rom Hoop», which can be literally translated as "market pull-down umbrella." Why so? Watch the video at the end of the material.
