Last month, the Armed Forces of Finland posted online archive of images taken in the period from 1939 to 1945 years. During this time, the Finns took part in three different confrontations. To your attention a small selection.
According to historical data, the first Finland fought the Soviet Union, protecting its own borders in the Russo-Finnish War. It is also called Winter War. Hostilities lasted a little over three months. The next step was part of Finland on the German side in World War II. And the last stage, was the protection of Lapland from the fascist aggression.
