Steve Jobs announced the iPhone 3G

Apple CEO Steve Jobs at WWDC developer conference announced the iPhone 3G, able to work with the networks of the third generation module and equipped with GPS.

Battery iPhone 3G is capable of working without charging in standby mode up to 300 hours. Conversation in second-generation networks drains the battery for eight to ten hours in the networks of the third - for five hours. The smartphone provides a view of a single charge for up to seven hours of video and 24 hours of audio listening.

According to Jobs, iPhone 3G downloads sites by 36 per cent faster than the smartphones Nokia N95 and Treo 750.

The new device, in contrast to the old also has a black back side and thinner at the edges and is equipped with advanced audio system.
