Olympic gold in the 10 yuan





In China, there are special notes of denomination of 10 yuan (about $ 1.45), dedicated to the upcoming Olympics 2008.



Instead of a portrait of Mao Zedong at the Olympic banknote main stadium of the Beijing Olympics "Bird's Nest" and the emblem of the Olympic Games in China.



On the reverse side of the banknote is an image of the Olympic Three Gorges dam on the Yangtze River, as well as ancient Greek sculptures and athletes.

Total production of 6 million notes commemorative Olympic 10 yuan. The new version of the bill is longer and wider than normal banknotes in denominations of 10 yuan.
