Firm Future Faraday introduced the 1050-strong electrocreaser Bashny.Net

Faraday of the Future, is going to compete with the company Tesla Motors, has officially unveiled its first model — 1050-horsepower electric crossover called the FF 91. The premiere of the car, capable to pass without recharging up to 700 km, took place at the consumer electronics show CES in Las Vegas.

Overall length of the crossover is 5.2 m, width — 2.28 meters, a height of 1.59 meters, and the wheelbase reaches 3.6 meters. The car is built on a modular platform developed by Faraday Future on their own, equipped with an adaptive suspension polnopravnym chassis. From zero to 96 kilometres per hour such car can be accelerated for 2,39 seconds. It's faster than even, for example, the Ferrari 488 GTB.



The drag coefficient is 0.25. For comparison, the Toyota Prius and Tesla Model S, the figure is 0.24. The company specifies that for a car was even developed a special 22-inch wheels, which can change the pattern of the spokes for better aerodynamics at high speeds.



The crossover is equipped with four electric motors with a total capacity of 1050 HP (1800 Nm), which are fed from a block of lithium-ion batteries developed by Faraday Future together with LG Chem. Their capacity is 130 kilowatt-hours, while "Tesla" Model X, which is going to compete with FF 91, it is possible to order just the batteries on 100 kilowatt-hours.

The novelty can be ordered with 110 - or 240-volt home chargers for 1.5, 10, or 15 kW. The top variant will "fill" the battery of 4.5 hours. The company claims that their car can be recharged at any charging station anywhere in the world. Even those that are only going to be commissioned, for example, a 200-kilowatt station.



Faraday Future FF 91 is equipped with an advanced autopilot system with lots of sensors than the Tesla. Crossover has 10 cameras and 12 ultrasonic sensors 13 a special radar and one optical rangefinder LIDAR. The last of them during the operation would leave "the hood".



The car can Park without a driver and then independently to come to him, and automatically see the owner in the face. Cameras mounted on the middle pillar, recognize not only the face but also the emotions of a person, automatically adjust the audio system and even selecting a program of massage chairs.

In addition, the FF 91 is Internet access, panoramic glass roof, which dims at the touch of a button, the chairs with "zero gravity", and the rear seat, whose backrest can recline to an angle of 60 degrees (for comparison, the current Maybach — 43 degrees).



The company began taking pre-orders for FF 91 on its website. The Deposit is 5 thousand dollars, but the full cost of the machine is not reported (according to preliminary data, the price reached 150-200 thousand dollars). The first 300 crossover will release in a special configuration with exclusive body color and interior trim.

The crossover will be assembled at the plant Faraday Future in Nevada. The first customers will receive their cars in 2018. published
