Villarreal intend to use led lights as they can reduce by 50 percent the amount of energy used for lighting bridges. The proposed level of luminescence for each bridge, meanwhile, allows you to highlight and emphasize the beauty of the architecture without being overly bright.

105 teams from 20 countries submitted their projects to the contest, and in November 10,000 people visited the exhibition of the main contenders for victory, selected by the jury of the competition.
