Columbia University Medical Center (CUMC) is a project of the new medical center at Columbia University, developed by the specialists of American architectural Studio Diller Scofidio + Renfro. 14-storey facility will include a mixed training programme, with a focus on team learning.





Social and research space is distributed among the size and category volumes along the stairs of the complex form, originating in the spacious lobby of the first floor and ending on the latest.





Rooms in the building are continued in the terraces and balconies located around the perimeter of the facades. These open eyes asymmetrical platform made of concrete and wood.
