Illegal zoo in Kharkov Bashny.Net

In Kharkov, in the village Pomirky on the territory of the equestrian club "allure" discovered an illegal zoo. The menagerie was discovered during an unscheduled inspection.


At the zoo there were about three dozen animals, including quite a lot of red: an eagle of the steppe, Pugach, white pelicans, wild cats. Some animals were unhealthy: mute Swan with damaged wing, and one of the pelicans — without the wing and with a broken beak.
According to the experts, the conditions the animals didn't meet their biological and species characteristics. So, at the time of inspection, the Swan was outside the fence, mouflon — in a cage without shelter, pelicans freely in the territory, and most of the animals were kept in cages much smaller than the standard.


Permission for keeping wild animals in captivity the subject of farming was not. Also did not have permission to veterinary services and a number of other documents. In addition, according to the Department of veterinary medicine of Kharkov, from may to July 2012 without any veterinary and other accompanying documents with the club was moved rhesus macaques, baboons, lions, leopard, brown bears, wolves, lynx, eagles and other wildlife species.


For violation of the Law of Ukraine "On the protection of animals from cruel behavior" owner of the animals brought to administrative responsibility.
