Tree Concert — singing chestnuts Berlin Bashny.Net

In many cities around the world are singing fountains, which at night give the music performances. But in Berlin recently appeared singing chestnuts. It happened in one of the city parks. With this unusual work, the authors of the project wanted to tell people that the number of green spaces in the German capital every year decreases.





Here singing chestnuts and appeared last week in Berlin, Monbijoupark Park! Created this unusual work of art artists from BBDO Proximity Berlin, supported by the Federal office for the protection of the environment.





Unusual musical installation Tree Concert is a most ordinary chestnut tree the age of a hundred years that efforts BBDO Proximity Berlin was illuminated by colored lights. And underneath, the artists have installed a special "singing" of the membrane.





In the fall chestnut these membranes produce a variety of sounds. And the result is a real natural Symphony, in which everyone present the next person can hear the dying process of nature.





This unusual installation, according to the authors, represents the process of reduction of green spaces in Berlin, which is observed in the last few years. And each fell on the sound membrane, the chestnut makes a kind of "Swan song" by felled the tree.
