The marzipan Museum

In the suburbs of the Hungarian capital – Budapest, the old town of Szentendre in any time of the year you can see a large number of foreign tourists. The increasing popularity of the original Museum opened in 1994, confectioner Karoly Szabo is a marzipan Museum. The Museum is located on the second floor of an old two-story building, right above a cozy pastry shop where you can buy all kinds of sweets, including marzipan.


In the Museum you can see the unusual building of the Hungarian Parliament, which easily can be eaten, because it is made from the finest chocolate. The Marzipan Museum in Szentendre a place where exhibits are inextricably linked to today's reality, and tourists can see how the are made so the original masterpieces of plastics, the beloved treats.


During the Museum tour you can descend to the first floor, where the best pastry shop of the town, and see how the cooks right in front of tourists will make the magic turn ordinary, nothing impressive elastic mass in a beautiful figure of a favorite childhood fairy-tale hero. Many of the exhibits of the Museum of Marzipan personally produced Karoly Szabo, founder of the Museum.
