Art generates energy installation Swing in Portugal Bashny.Net

The Berlin design Bureau Moradavaga recently created an amazing art installation in Portugal, which was called Swing. Just swinging on a swing from the normal materials like wooden planks and hemp rope – it is possible to generate energy, which is then used subsequently to illuminate.



   

Presented as part of a program promoting the culture promoted in Guimaraes – European capital of culture in 2012, installation of the Swing shows that it is not necessary to spend a lot of money or use high technology to very simple to solve global environmental problems facing humanity.



    

With the help of a simple Bicycle mechanism and fluctuations in the spins the wheel, which drives a Dynamo, and she in turn, turns on the light.
